We do not collect passwords, government IDs, or any data beyond what is necessary to deliver the Product and provide support.

• Product delivery: Send you access to the source code after purchase via GitHub repository invite
• Updates: Notify you of new versions for as long as Sinter is actively developed
• Support: Respond to your questions or issues
• License administration: Verify your license if needed
• Website security: Protect against abuse and unauthorised access

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We use the following third-party services to operate the Website and deliver the Product:

These services process your data under their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for them to perform their function.

Our website uses:

• Essential cookies: Required for the site to function (e.g., session management). Cannot be disabled.
• Analytics cookies: We use PostHog for website analytics, including page views, session recordings, and usage patterns. Analytics cookies are blocked by default until you explicitly accept them via the consent banner. You can reject analytics at any time, and no tracking data will be collected. If you change your mind, clear your cookies to see the consent banner again.
• Local storage (Launch Checklist demo): When you check tasks on the public Launch Checklist demo at /demowithout an account, your progress is saved to your browser's localStorage under the key sinter:checklist:completions:v1. This is treated as strictly necessary under GDPR/ePrivacy — the same legal basis as a shopping cart — because it persists actions you took in the tool. No consent gate is required. The data lives only on your device until you sign up; signing up migrates it to your account, and the local copy is then cleared.

• Purchase records and email: Retained for as long as your license is active, plus any period required by Swedish tax law (typically 7 years for financial records)
• Support correspondence: Retained for 2 years after last contact, then deleted

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)

Your data may be processed outside the EU/EEA by our third-party services (e.g., GitHub in the US). These transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or the service's certification under applicable data protection frameworks.

The Product is not intended for individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
